Samsung Galaxy S2 crashing after delete dumpstate/logcat operation

Hello,

I recently tested the "delete dumpstate/logcat" manipulation by typing *#9900# on the keypad, to free up memory space on my Galaxy S2, which constantly told me that memory space was running low.

It worked very well.

Except that now, my phone crashes a lot. The screen freezes whether I'm on the home screen with a message saying that TouchWiz has crashed, or when I’m typing a text message or trying to open an app (mail or otherwise). There doesn't seem to be any rule, but it happens several times a day and I'm starting to get fed up. I have to restart it either by removing the battery or by holding down the power button for a long time.
I also have a lot of trouble sending SMS (they take ages to send) and I receive duplicates of the ones sent to me. I don't know if it's related, but still...

Sure, my phone is a bit old, but why all of a sudden is it crashing like this?
Could it be related to the manipulation I did?
Has anyone else had this problem? And did they manage to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

PS: I have a Galaxy S2 GT-I9100G.

Hello

Install Kies software on your PC and back up your phone. Then perform a factory reset without saving anything. If you have any questions, let me know and we’ll see. A few tips: back up your SMS and MMS with the SMS Backup & Restore app you can find on the Play Store. Export your contacts to your Gmail account instead of keeping them on the phone’s memory. Store your photos, music, and videos on a microSD card, on your PC, or on Google Drive...
