Hi, I have a Connectland v2.0 external enclosure, but the problem is that I can’t install it on my new computer since it doesn’t recognize Windows 10. What should I do? Thanks for your help.

How is it plugged into the PC?

    Regarding the terms used:
    - an external enclosure is not "installed" on a PC, but "plugged into the PC." It is an internal device that is "installed" inside the PC.
    - it is not the external enclosure that should "recognize" the operating system (Windows or otherwise), but the opposite!

Because the manuals don't tell you everything...
    But not nothing either, right!

Yes I know, but since I have another PC I want to install it there, but the installation CD tells me that it requires Windows 98.

"the installation CD tells me that Windows 98 is required"

The CD in question is a "Windows XP upgrade for Windows 98," I suppose.

I suggest you use the "full version" installation CD of Windows the most recent one for which you have a license.

      And forgive this little outburst:
uh... seriously? Windows 98?! We're in 2016. Since then there have been Windows XP, Vista, Seven, 8 and currently, Windows 10! (no, don't look for "9," it's normal).
