I used to be able to use it before and now my PC no longer recognizes it

    Wouldn't it be the hard drive placed in the external case instead?

      I don't know? Do you think the hard drive is dead? The casing is flashing but nothing is happening

        I don't know if there is a driver for an external enclosure. I've had many in my hands but none of them have required an update.
