Hello,
at the beginning of the line, you can find a scissors symbol in the special characters of the Wingdings font, in the 3rd or 4th position
or you can type it using the keyboard by holding down the Alt key and typing 034, which will give you a quotation mark. Insert a space
place your tab stop on the ruler where your dotted line should end and press tab
right-click on the tabbed line/Click on the tab button and check option 2 for the small dots
select the first character (the quotation mark) and change the font to Wingdings (you can increase the font size)
select the dotted lines Font/and check Superscript to raise the dots on the line
if you do not want to use tabs to create your dotted lines right away
after creating your scissors Insert/Shape choose the line you want to draw to the desired length, then right-click on the line/Format Shape/Line style and choose the shape in the dash type
