Hello,
I am looking for a laptop, primarily for working outside (train, café) and mainly for office tasks, which is why I wanted a screen that isn't too small and for a budget not exceeding 300 euros.
This led me to the ASUS L402MA-WX0102T model.
I don't know much about it and I can't find any reviews or tests on this model at all. Could you give me your opinion based on its technical specifications? (link on the Conforama website)
If you have other models to suggest, I am open to them, even if the screen is smaller, as long as it's more powerful, has better battery life, and that the laptop doesn't overheat or make too much noise!
Thank you very much for responding if you see this post (I would like to conclude this deal before the end of the sales!),
Have a great day,
Elisa

Hello Elisa :)
For what you plan to do with it, I think it's a good choice.
If you have a bit of money later on, I would recommend buying an SSD to replace the hard drive that comes with this model.
You could keep this hard drive as an external drive.
The advantage of this move is that you will gain a lot in battery life and performance.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other comments/questions.

Thank you Mr-Auk29, it’s great that you replied so quickly,
and what would you recommend for a hybrid? Is it wise considering my budget?
The only thing I'm sure of is that a Chromebook wouldn't be suitable for me, as I want to use it offline as well.
Thank you.- Hybrid, are you talking about a detachable tablet + keyboard combo?
You'll have a smaller screen in the price range you've set for yourself. That said, it works well too and is sufficient for what you want to do.
If you choose this option, then you might want to go for a model that allows for SD or micro SD cards to increase memory if needed.
However, you will often have a lower storage capacity.
