Hello,

I would like to thank the person who answered my previous question
but it says that my discussion does not exist. Anyway, thanks to jeanbern. Now I need to temporarily disable Comodo antivirus but I'm having a bit of difficulty.
Configuration: Windows / Mozilla 11.0 I went to my taskbar at the bottom right, right-clicked on Comodo but it doesn't work or I don't know where to click. If someone could provide an explanation that's not too complicated, I would be grateful.

    Good evening,

right-click on the Comodo icon in the taskbar: and then choose "exit Comodo", this will disable it...

to reactivate it, you just have to open the program (usually found in the start menu, or in program files...)

Hello Pistouri, thank you for responding. I went to my taskbar and right-clicked on Comodo, but I didn't exit Comodo. I'll tell you what I see. Antivirus, Sandbox, HIPS, Viruscope, game mode, advanced view, widget (floating window), open and quit. For the first four, I have arrows but it only says: real-time, dynamic, disabled, and settings. I tried disabling it, but it doesn't disable Comodo. So I'm lost. If you have another solution, that would be great. Thank you very much and have a good day, Pistouri.

Hello, I'm having the same question, I'm on Windows 11 and clicking Comodo on the taskbar, you just need to choose "antivirus" and disable it, if it can help but I'm wondering what "automatic containment" means. I have connection issues and it could come from Comodo since it blocks a lot of things. Can you tell me what "automatic containment" means? Thank you.

        Hello,

The automatic confinement has nothing to do with connection issues that would possibly fall under the firewall.

It's a function of the antivirus that can be turned on or off, and when it scans local files or downloaded executables, it places them in a special folder if it finds them suspicious, where they cannot be executed, with the remaining task after analyzing the issue being to delete these executables or to restore them from quarantine.
