Hello, I recently bought a monitor to play on the PS4; however, I mistakenly bought a PC monitor, so there is no sound! For the PS4, it’s not a big deal since I can plug a headset into the controller. However, is it possible to connect speakers to the monitor to watch DVDs or other things... It has HDMI, VGA, and DVI ports. Thank you :)

Good evening,

If you bought this screen new, there is a manual included, and in this manual, there are the technical specifications, everything is indicated there, including the connectors. If there are only HDMI, VGA, and DVI, you have no way to output sound because these are INPUTS.

On the other hand, if there is a headphone JACK 3.5 output, you will be able to output sound to a PC speaker set, for example, but it must have amplification; simple speakers will not work.

If you provide the brand and exact model of this screen, I may be able to give you more information.

Best regards ;-)

Here are all the technical details of this screen, and I invite you to read them:

In your rush to make this purchase, you didn't take the time to read the specifications, and you're going to regret it because there are no built-in speakers or AUDIO OUT; it's just a plain monitor. I just hope you didn't pay too much for it ;-)
