Thomson LED 28HZA233W USB drive not recognized

Hello,
I have a problem regarding the USB port of the TV.

I have a Thomson LED TV 28HZA233W, and on my USB stick, I have videos (AVI, MP4) and photos (JPG..) that the TV should detect but doesn't.
When I plug my USB stick into the TV, nothing is detected and when I change the source, it says "no signal." Furthermore, when I go into the menu and check the media, nothing is detected. I tried the same thing with other USB sticks but still got the same result.

So maybe something needs to be unlocked on the TV or something???
I need help please.

Thank you in advance

Hello;

I suggest you check out >> This link
It is obvious that before formatting your USB drive, you need to back up your videos or anything else on that drive to another medium, otherwise they will be lost.

You should format it either in NTFS or FAT32.
To conduct your test, simply put a small video in mp4 format and if that doesn't work, try the other format.

See you!

Best regards

I went to that link, but my drive was already in FAT32, so I switched it to NTFS, but nothing changed...

Hi;
If neither of the 2 formats works, the problem may come from your TV, as HOMBOURGEOIS pointed out, whom I greet by the way. To be sure, it would be worth trying with another recent TV if you have the opportunity? Or are the stored videos defective??
See you!
