Connect to Live from Outlook

Hello,
Years ago, I had a Hotmail address, except it was live.fr instead of Hotmail.fr... Today I need to connect to this address, but it's impossible to log in to live.fr which has become Outlook... Is my address still valid? How can I fix this problem? Thank you in advance for your responses!

To connect to a live.fr, hotmail.fr, or msn.fr account, it's over here >>http://login.live.com/... if you remember your password, otherwise click on "forgot password"
and in your Outlook email, you need to add your Live.fr or hotmail.fr email accounts. all the addresses you own.

Avoid installing those free software that supposedly boosts or repairs your PC; they are of no major use. The best tool in Windows is called Dos....& Powershell..

I tried, it keeps giving me the message "This Microsoft account does not exist" even though it's the correct address. I still tried with @hotmail.fr, hotmail.com, but nothing works... plus, I've forgotten my password but I was hoping to resolve the issue with the secret question or something (hope, hope...)
