Partial sorting issue in Excel

Hello,
I am working on a file that partially takes my sorting into account; it stops at line 956. The only difference I identify between line 956 and the following lines is that when I move to line 957 and onwards, the names of my columns no longer appear in the gray area (where A, B, C... usually appear). Has anyone ever encountered this issue?
Thank you

Hello.
No, I don't think so.
We should send us that abnormal file ...
 1) Go to https://www.cjoint.com/
2) Click on [Browse] to select your file (maximum 8192 Ko)
3) Scroll down to click on the blue button [Create Cjoint link]
4) After a few seconds, the second page will appear, with the link in bold; select it and click "Copy"
5) Go back to your discussion on CCM, and in your reply message, click "Paste".

Hello, that’s very kind of you but I cannot publish my file (it’s a file I’m preparing for a trial, so it’s a bit delicate). What I can tell you is that when I do ctrl+A, the selection also stops at line 956, so I think it’s a problem with defining the active area but I am not able to understand where to define it. It seems that before, I used the shortcut ctrl+* on PC, but today, either this shortcut no longer works, or it doesn’t work on Mac. When I search the topic, I only find information about defining the print area, never about the active area. Thank you very much for your help.

Hello.

- Could you copy your file, delete lines 1000 and beyond, columns starting from C, and clear all cell contents; that should be enough for us to detect the flaw.
- I don't know what you mean by an "active area" in Excel...
- I hope you didn't insert an automatic table in your Excel sheet?

Hello,

Thank you, actually I've identified the bug, I believe, there seems to be a little blue L that appears at the bottom right of the cell where the issue arises.
When I delete the corresponding row, the L moves up to the row above, so now it appears in B954. Maybe this is a problem related to my version of Excel?
No, I haven't inserted an automatic table.
What I refer to as the active area is actually the area that Excel considers as being used in the sheet, but I don't know if that's the "official" name.
Thank you very much in any case for your help!

Good evening,

No, I didn't insert an automatic table.
And yet, you did!
You select any cell in your table in column B before B954
You will see a menu tab "creation" on the right that you select
You click on "convert to range" and confirm
Everything will return to normal!

@Raymond, a big friendly hello to you!

Awesome, thank you both!
I guess I didn't understand the concept of an automatic table, so I'm going to look into it (I thought it was about embedding a table in a predefined format) and check what this story about converting to a range means (that could be useful in the future).
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
