Hello,
I encountered a sound problem with my JBL Creature speaker (no sound at all).
I went to see my computer repair technician with the equipment (tower, speaker, and subwoofers) to check if the issue was coming from my tower (PC) or elsewhere.
It’s not the computer, so I changed the subwoofers.
Unfortunately, the sound from this new speaker is much less powerful than JBL.
I patiently introspected on my equipment and noticed that a male jack with 5 prongs inside was defective (in fact, there is a missing prong).
Do you think the problem comes from that?
Thank you for your reply.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 46.0.2490.86

Good evening,
You're not precise enough, do you mean that the entire JBL creature isn't working or that one satellite speaker isn't working?
And where is this male 5-pin connector located? What does it connect?
And also provide the full reference
In the Naudin family, my favorite is Uncle Fernand.-

Thank you for your response,
Actually, since yesterday I have been gathering information but the problem is still not resolved.
The concerned unit with the 5 claws inside connects to the main speaker and is linked to one of the small speakers.
Now, I am aware that if that was the problem, the other small speaker would work, but that is not the case.
So, the problem comes from the main speaker. My computer repair technician, who is not competent in the field of video or TV repairs (he himself told me this), thinks that the speaker has undergone a short circuit. What do you think?
Is this kind of problem repairable by a professional, and is the repair worth it?
Thank you in advance.
