Good evening, I have a JBL Charge 2 and about a year ago, I dropped it and the left speaker started to crackle when I played music with bass.
Unable to repair it since apparently it's impossible to fix a JBL Charge 2, I've tried to look at what was wrong for the hundredth time. I already knew that the left speaker wasn't producing sound, but I pressed on the diaphragm and it turned out the speaker started working again and the annoying distortion issue was gone. So I put strong adhesive tape around the diaphragm to hold it in place so the speaker would work. But I really don't understand why the speaker works when the diaphragm is pressed. I would like to repair the speaker without having to use tape to hold it down. Do you have any idea on how to fix it or why the diaphragm needs to be pressed for the speaker to work?
Thank you in advance for your response.

Hello,
Generally, when you have to move a part for it to work, there's a strong chance that there's a bad contact.

Alright, thank you, I'll try to fix that, but it seems quite complicated since the speaker doesn't seem to be able to be disassembled...
