My HP Pavilion dv7 won't start anymore

Hello everyone
As mentioned in the title, I can't turn on my PC.
I've followed all the possible repair steps suggested by HP (removing the battery and charger, holding the power button for 15 seconds, reinserting the battery and the power adapter, restarting, etc.), but nothing works.
Sometimes it turns on (rarely) and shows a black screen. But it almost never turns on.
Does anyone have an answer to my problem?
Thanks in advance

Hello
A DV7 laptop (I have one on hand..) runs without a battery, so even if it's dead, the laptop should still work!

On certain iPhones, or my electric bike for example, but it doesn't matter.. when the device "randomly starts," sometimes just spraying a bit of contact cleaner on the "switch" (on/off button) can make it work.

I'm not claiming that this will definitely work, but it's worth a try..

Hello
Are your LEDs (battery, charging) lit up on your PC?

Hello
The only light that is on is the charger light
Otherwise, there is no light for the status of the computer (on/standby/off)

I think your battery is dead.
On some laptop brands, when the battery is shot, the laptop won’t even start on mains power.

I think it's a power issue or the power button of your PC.
Your PC should work without the battery when plugged in.

I have already tried with the battery and adapter, just with the battery, just with the adapter
the button issue is quite possible, but when the computer is not being temperamental, the button works correctly.

Your problem must be hardware-related, but what????
It could be your hard drive, your RAM sticks, your power button, your graphics card, or even your motherboard, your screen.
There are so many factors that need to be considered for a black screen.
