Is Wish reliable?

Hello, I accidentally came across this site and I am shocked to see such beautiful items at such prices. I would like to order quite a few things from it, but after researching on a forum like this about the site, I feel a bit discouraged. That's why I only want to order jewelry or even extensions or makeup but not clothes. Can someone (who has used this site to buy items like the ones I would like to buy) give me advice?

Hello everyone, I rarely give my opinion on forums but I admit that reading others' helps me sometimes. When you can read them (French is fading! It's awful, sometimes borderline incomprehensible....).
So I’m sharing my experience.
I’ve placed several orders (about ten) on Wish, so far without any problems.
Luck??
However, one mustn't be naïve! And order with full knowledge of the facts!
Yes, these are almost exclusively Chinese products and sellers. And thus of "Chinese quality"!!
But when you know that 70 or 80% of products sold in France are made there, you might as well buy them at the source!
Read the descriptions and reviews from other buyers carefully (a well-rated seller, "real" photos posted by buyers...).
Then don’t rely on strikethrough prices! They inflate the starting prices to make you believe in great deals.
Their selling prices are the prices that their items are worth...nothing more.
And finally, be careful with shipping fees, which accumulate even when buying several items from the same seller.
In short, no, it’s not a scam IF you don’t believe in Santa Claus!!
You just need to buy knowing what and from whom!
And pay via Paypal for more security.
And be patient... The journey from China takes time.
I hope my (long) comment will be useful to some.
For my part, I will continue to buy on Wish, cheap trinkets (if they get lost on the way, the loss will be minimal) and knowing what I am buying!
Oh, I should clarify that I am a regular buyer, not a "complicit" person of Wish as mentioned above!
And if my future orders go less well, I will come back to revisit my opinion.
But for now, everything is fine...
Have a good day everyone.

Hello, I would like to believe you, I ordered on January 25 and still haven't received anything, I paid via PayPal maybe that's more secure.
If we read all the comments, hmm! Not very secure, it's quite concerning actually.

Hello, I have only ever ordered electronic products (components, small kits, LED strips... and small tools (pliers, drill bits, soldering iron).
Everything has always arrived within a time frame of 15 to 45 days. And even though the packaging can sometimes be alarming, the equipment was in good condition.
Now, when we see the prices charged, sometimes 20 times cheaper with shipping included than in the few French shops, we might wonder if the quality is there. But for the past two years that I have been working with this site, I haven’t had any issues in that regard.
Out of about forty orders, there was only one complaint; two emails in approximate English (forget about French) and photos of the broken equipment, a new shipment was made. And to my pleasant surprise, this order of 3 items was sent complete even though there was only one damaged item.
