Hello,
I want to play online games with my friends, but my microphone is picking up the sound I hear in my headphones as loudly as my voice, which is very annoying for them. I have already tried to see if it was due to stereo mixing, but it is disabled in the options, and after testing, I can affirm that the problem is neither with the microphone nor with Skype. I have already searched on forums but could not find anyone with the same problem as mine.

Thank you in advance for your answers,
Ano.

    So,
    1. Right-click on the sound button (taskbar).
    2. Click on "Recording devices".
    3. Double-click on YOUR current mic or right-click and select properties on your current mic.
    4. And finally, go to the "Listen" tab and uncheck the box "Listen to this device".
    And there you go!

      Hello,
thank you for your quick response HyGoVieuw, but the box was already unchecked, and activating it and then deactivating it doesn't change anything. :(

      Ok great!
Try plugging it in behind your PC!
Let me know how it goes, not only will it be more efficient but it will also work again!
Otherwise, if that doesn't work, I'll try to find a second solution :)
