Hello, my name is Telmo and I have a problem with my processor which I think isn’t running at full speed because the computer tells me the processor is only working at 25 - 35% while I’m having big issues with the IPS in my game: Arma3 I’m playing around 20 - 30 fps even not playing in King of the Hill mode so I’m simply asking for help.
My config is this:
CPU: Intel Core i7 860 clocked at 2.80 GHz
MOBO: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7P55D DELUXE Rev 1.xx
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4G
PSU: Super Flower SF-700R14A
RAM: 12GB
Hoping that someone can help me :) Have a good day or evening everyone

Hi,
nothing to do with your CPU...
Well, if... but not only...
--> the problem is that your GPU cannot deliver all its power with a setup like yours, it’s throttled...

Well, thanks for your help, I knew somewhere that it had to come from another part, like the motherboard or the power supply, but I wasn’t sure and I really didn’t want to buy new ones given how much my graphics card cost me, but oh well, I should have looked into it beforehand… oh well. Thanks anyway :)

yeah... alright listen thanks for your help (again) and I think I'm going to change all this mess x) it's funny because like 5 - 6 months ago my dad gave me this config that he paid about €1500 for and now that I'm looking at it closely for 500 - 600 less I could have done 10 times better (yes because the GPU is the one I changed, less than 2 weeks ago that's why I’m wondering now why it has exactly the same performance as with my old GPU, an AMD I don’t remember which, a bit lame) :D I’ll try to buy a good CPU so I’ve put a few bucks aside, it should work I’m rambling my life probably I’ve lost you anyway thanks to you and .. good night ^^' :p
Taking the opportunity to tell you the rest of my life if you’re still there! I’m aiming for the MSI Z97 as always because it doesn’t look too bad and the Intel Core i7-4790K (4.0 GHz) Hopefully I won’t have problems in the future! Kiss :x -

Well then I chose this therefore:
CM: MSI Z97 PC MATE
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.2 GHz)-
Afterwards I want it to last a few years, the CG will last for sure but I don't know if the rest needs to follow; if it follows, great, otherwise… we'll see: x Anyway thanks guys and good night to you all. In the end my problem wasn't complicated to fix, just a bit costly: d so my post became useless. Am I supposed to delete it or something like that?
