Hello, we are organizing a puck tournament in less than a month, and we have started a file to establish a ranking based on the different matches. Here’s how it works:
There are 3 matches. We have 48 teams divided into 12 pools.
Then, after these 3 matches, we establish a ranking. We take the two best teams from each pool, along with the best third teams, to reach 36 teams for the main play.
The rest of the teams will play in the consolation round.
To establish the ranking, we consider the number of matches won (1 point for each match won, 0 points for lost matches). We also take the point difference into account.
I have started an Excel file that I am attaching; I am a bit stuck on how to carry out the rankings and hope to receive valuable help quickly! Thank you in advance!
