Steam Compatibility Mode

Solved

Hello everyone,

I have been playing FSX on Steam with the FSpassenger add-on. The game runs very well, but the add-on doesn't work. I read on a forum that this issue is due to Windows 8 and that I need to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7. The problem is that when I go to "Properties," there's no "Compatibility" tab anymore (probably because of Steam). I also tried to go into the local files, but I couldn't find it.
Does anyone know how to do this, please?

Sorry if I express myself poorly, but I'm really not an expert ^^

    Hi,

it seems you might not be in the right place. The games are installed at this address:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\

Then you go into the game's folder, identify the executable that launches it, and right-click on that file > properties; there you will find the compatibility tab.

      Hi MaxGix,

      Thank you for your response.
I did go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX and found the executable. I went to properties and it's exactly the same, no compatibility tab.

Strange, I have some games, not FSX, and I do have the compatibility tab; well, if it’s not there, I don't see the solution, sorry.

Ah, there you go, I found it. I must have been mistaken and not on the executable!
In any case, thank you very much for your help.
