rename a link Solved

Question

Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to rename a link and send it by email? I tried to use the ""[" etc. but it doesn't work, the link shows up with the name I wanted to rename next to it.
If someone can help me, thanks!

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.4

Hello you mean hiding a link under a word? Like THIS?  To achieve this, you write: (https://www.commentcamarche.net/ THIS) ? by replacing the parentheses with brackets.

Hello, yes thank you toptitbal that's exactly what I want to do but it doesn't work, when I do the manipulation you mention everything is visible the link and the name I give it..
but I specify it's to send in an email maybe that's why it doesn't work?

If it's in an email, it's different. The procedure I mentioned concerns posts on CCM.
If you are using Outlook Express, just double-click in front of the chosen word to highlight it, then click on the "Send hyperlink" icon and paste the link address in the window that opens.

Hello everyone!
The thing with the brackets only works for this site, and then, for the others, you have to do it like this:

For example, to link to https://www.google.fr/ and rename it, you need to do: <a href="https://www.google.fr/">GOOGLE</a>, replacing the '*' at the beginning with a space.
It works on all sites, not just this one.
