Hello,

So here is my problem, I have 2 High Definition Audio devices that are installed.
I uninstall them via the device manager and nothing changes, and I also no longer have Realtek in the manager, but the software is installed.
Anyway, my PC is an HP Envy TS 15.

Thanks.

Hello,

Give the hardware ID numbers of the 2 High Definition Audio Devices.
To find the ID number, look --> here

What do you have in audio controllers?

Under which operating system and in 32 or 64 bits?

Is the model number of the PC incomplete?
Envy TS 15- .... ?

The model number is incomplete.
EX: 15-1050nr, 15-3040nr, etc...
Check the label under the laptop.

Try these 2 drivers anyway:
For the working High Definition Audio device:
Download this driver --> IDT audio
and put it in your documents.

Right-click on --> sp63555.exe
Choose --> extract all
Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the working High Definition Audio device
Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> sp63555
Folder --> wdm
Select the folder --> vista
Next, etc...
Restart

For the problematic High Definition Audio device:
Download this driver --> DisplayAudio
and put it in your documents.

Right-click on --> sp72370.exe
Choose --> extract all
Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the working High Definition Audio device
Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> sp72370
Folder --> DisplayAudio
Select the folder --> 6.16.00.3178
Next, etc...
Restart

I have some news. I installed the HP Support Assistant and I have installed 2 new drivers. Now I have this in the Device Manager:
- IDT High Definition Audio CODEC (new)
- NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device
- High Definition Audio Device which is causing a problem HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2807&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2807&SUBSYS_80860101

And the second driver is Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver which is not in the Device Manager
And the full model is HP ENVY TS 15 j-098sf.

For the High Definition Audio device that is having issues, did you read and install the DisplayAudio driver manually?
Check this --> message 4

For Ethernet, install this driver --> Realtek
