Hello everyone,
Can someone help me solve the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN issue on my smartphone (Sony Xperia)? How can I fix this problem on an Android smartphone?

Thank you very much for your valuable help!

Hello, tip found on this forum

Try going to "Network and Sharing Center" > "Change adapter settings" >

- Then right-click on the connected network adapter, "Properties".
- A window will open, find in the list "Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4)" > Then click on "Properties" > Check "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter 8.8.8.8.

8.8.8.8 is a DNS server from Google

Click OK.
If you need to set Google's DNS servers as mentioned in the first message, it means that your ISP's DNS has been modified by malicious software; probably adware.

So it's good to set the DNS servers that will resolve the visible issues, but it may be that the computer is infected, it would be wise to disinfect it.
But in some cases, simply disconnecting from Wi-Fi and reconnecting is enough.

Thank you very much Nadellen for your quick response!
That's indeed what you need to do on a PC.
At home, it’s on an Android smartphone (SONY Xperia Z3). You need to open the Wi-Fi connection in the settings. Go to advanced options. Set to static mode and then for the 1st DNS, enter 8.8.8.8 and for the 2nd DNS: 8.8.4.4
and the problem is solved!
