Hello everyone,
A friend called me earlier to let me know that his computer wasn't working like it used to. I went over thinking it was probably nothing (he's not very good with computers), but when I started the machine, I noticed several issues:
- As soon as I go to a search bar, wherever it is (Windows, internet...), the letters d, c, or e type out instantly and repeatedly.
- The keyboard is not working anymore: the few keys that still work don't show what they should, but rather a series of symbols.
- The Windows assistance keeps popping up on its own and reopens as soon as I close it.
I ran RogueKiller, deleted everything it detected, but it didn't change anything. The same with Malwarebytes, which didn't detect anything abnormal at all.
I should mention that the computer was protected with Avira (free version).
If anyone can help me resolve the issue, I thank you in advance!

Hello,
I ran a roguekiller, deleted everything it detected, but it didn't change anything.
So... what did you delete?
Do you have the report?
Because RogueKiller lists aren't necessarily malicious.
Since Malwarebytes isn't detecting anything, it's probably not a malware issue.
To check:
Follow the FRST tutorial.
(and be sure to take the time to read it in order to apply it correctly - everything is explained there).
Download and run the FRST scan, it will generate three FRST reports:
Send those three reports to the site http://pjjoint.malekal.com as explained, and in return provide the three pjjoint links leading to those reports here in a new response so that we can consult them.

Your eyes they penetrate me,
(Your answer's always 'maybe')
That's when I got up and left

It's a hardware problem, more precisely the keyboard's plate that is disconnected

I am proceeding with the scan and will send that to you right away.
P.S.: I just noticed that the icons on the desktop were selecting themselves.
