How to remove "Read-only"

Hello,
I just tested all the folders and files on my computer.
For each one, I apply the formula:

Right-click on the document;

Click on "Properties";

"General" tab;

The attribute is about 50%: the "Read-only" box is checked.

The issue I’m facing is that I can no longer save texts, whether adding or removing.

I foolishly asked the question: how to remove this function.
They were more than willing to explain. But unfortunately, I’m getting lost and I'm afraid of making my problem worse.

Is there a kind soul who could help me with my issue?

      I create a new << folder >> in which I click on << Properties >>;
      the << General >> tab is open.
      The Attributes appear, the box that follows is not the color of the background, but it is a dark color. This is what can mislead a novice of 75 years, such as myself.

      It is possible that until yesterday, not daring to click further, I considered (wrongly, I admit) that this sign meant I was in << Read-only >>.

      When in reality I needed to click two more times to obtain this << Read-only >> function.

      This would mean that until I performed this check, regarding my << PC >>, it was not in << Read-only >>.

      I would need to click two more times to check this << Read-only >> function.

      I click on the floppy disk, this text is saved.

      To verify, I return to my file, make a modification, I << click >> again on the floppy disk and I see that the addition is saved.
