Hello,

I’m not sure if I’m posting this message in the right forum.

Anyway, here’s my little problem. I have a Mac OS X and a LiveBox Pro, and I recently installed a compatible Wi-Fi key on my Mac, which is working fine so far.

My issue is as follows:
When I turn off my Mac and then turn it back on, I lose my connection and have to re-enter the WEP code.

If anyone can provide more information on how to avoid entering this code again, I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

    Caution regarding Airport cards.
There are 2 types of Apple's Airport cards: regular Airport cards and Airport Extreme cards. Not all older Macs are compatible with the Airport Extreme card (still sold on Apple's website), while the regular Airport card is no longer sold by Apple, but can be found on the second-hand market; sometimes more expensive than new ones, but it’s still the best solution for the first sunflower iMacs for example. G3 iMacs after October 1999, and DV types can use regular Airport cards but require an adapter for installation. The first G4 iMacs can directly use regular Airport cards, while the 1GHz G4 iMacs and USB2 G4 iMacs can receive Airport Extreme cards (the latter are classified as "Airport Extreme ready").

    Best regards
