09 54 76... virus ?? Solved

Question

Hello everyone, I received a strange call yesterday afternoon on my landline (unlimited NEUF phone), the number was 09 54 76 XX XX (I'm intentionally not providing the full number). When I answered, I heard background noise (as if it were in the middle of a factory) and then several beeps... and after that, it hung up. Do you think I was a victim of a "virus"... well, I don't really know how to qualify it...

Hi,  You're a bit paranoid, aren't you? ;) The numbers starting with 0954.... are Free numbers, I know it, I have one like that (but it wasn't me who called you) :)

Why do you think you have a virus?

I also get calls from those numbers (09...) but every time I'm not at home, I know it by checking the missed calls (FT)... :)

It must be surveys about water quality, kitchens, etc. Probably a professional number.

Well, for me it was fishy, it reminded me of what happens with mobile phones, where you receive calls from 08 XX XX XX XX and then you call back and BANG! right in the face.

Good evening, in my building lobby, a notice has been posted warning to be careful as there are people calling you pretending to be your operator asking you to dial *9, and because of that, they can make a copy of your SIM card and call using your plan. There's also another thing: if your phone rings and it shows 3 letters, do not answer because it's a virus and your phone will no longer work. Bye.
