Unable to disable offline mode

Good evening,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Trent. Earlier when I was on a call, everything stopped, and I couldn't resume the call or call my contact back.

When I try, I get this message: offline mode activated. Disable it to make calls.

I tried to do so, but I can't manage it. Can someone explain how to do it because I'm not very tech-savvy and I'm 77 years old.

Thank you very much.

Mamy Clau

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 44.0.2403.130

Thank you for the very clear explanation, but I can't find the power button...

I told you I was useless.

Take the phone and turn on the screen.
Hold it normally, in portrait mode, in short.
On the right edge, at the top, there is a button.
That's the one you need to press!
Press it for 2 seconds, but the pop-up will appear before. Avoid holding it down for more than 5 seconds, otherwise the phone will turn off.
In the pop-up, press offline... and that's it!

Hoping to have been more explicit,

      Have a good evening!

I succeeded in disabling it, but I still can't make calls; I keep getting the same message again.

Wait for the phone to reconnect to the network. Depending on the network coverage, it may take more or less time. But it should be working now! You sent the message 6 minutes ago ;-)
