Make a video banner disappear

Hello,

I received a nice video, but it is tainted by an advertising banner.

Is it possible to remove this banner? How can I do it, please?

    Hi
    You need to use video editing software
    so it is possible if
    - the banner is at the beginning or the end of the video. (section and remove the ad part)
    - the banner is at the top or bottom or on the side (select, cut, resize)
    be careful because most of these software are paid, the free ones are a limited version often bundled with an operating system or a camera / camera device.

      I thank you for replying, but it is not the answer to the question asked. I did not ask how to cut my video so that it also removes the banner, but simply how to make the banner disappear (which appears for the entire video) without altering the video. If someone knows the solution, it would be appreciated. THANK YOU

      With a magic wand maybe. more seriously, if you don't have the source files of the edit + the software with which the editing was performed, you can't.
