Hello,
Today I wake up and, as usual, I turn on the PC (which is not mine). It starts normally, I hear the fan, the hard drive, etc. Then a few seconds later, I hear 5 beeps and then nothing, the screen and peripherals remain inactive. I tried again several times but it’s always the same. Thank you for your help and I don’t know the configuration (it’s not my PC).

Hello,
5 beeps indicate a processor problem, probably the fan that is not working or is poorly connected to the motherboard!
Open the case and see if the fan is turning when you start the PC; there is a wire that goes from the fan to a 3-pin connector on the motherboard, check that it is properly connected or possibly clean the fan if there is a lot of dust as that can prevent the fan from turning.

Thank you, my PC no longer beeps at startup but still does not recognize the peripherals.
Hello,
it's difficult to troubleshoot remotely in a precise way without knowing your PC and its BIOS
You can read here about the beeps at startup:
beeps-from-bios-and-most-frequent-error-codes
apparently the CPU has an issue...
If the CPU fan isn't running, you would get an error message but it would still start up anyway.

Hello again and thank you for your help!
My fan was super dusty so I vacuumed it to clean it, the beeps have stopped, the fan is working (even though it was working before) but the peripherals are still off as if nothing happened and my headset, which is lit on the sides and was lit when the computer beeped 5 times, is no longer lighting up.
