Hello,
I would like to replace the processor in my computer that is slowing down a lot,
an AMD E1-6010 with an AMD A6-6420K. Is it possible?
Thank you!

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 38.0

Hello,

If it's a computer, probably not.

If it's a tower, possible but not certain, because if the tower is branded, the processor is probably soldered to the motherboard.

Best regards,

Thank you for your response. This is a Lenovo G50 laptop, 4GB of RAM, AMD E1 1.5GHz processor, 1TB hard drive. However, I use mapping software and it's too slow. I would like to know if I can replace the processor with an AMD A6. I think it will be faster.
Thank you!

So no. The SoCs are soldered, your processor is part of the mobile SoCs... so it's not replaceable. ;-)
