connecting an active speaker to a second one Solved

Hello everyone! I have a 600w max active speaker with an RCA output, and I wanted to know if there is any risk in connecting a second amplified speaker via RCA, considering that I noticed the second speaker has more sound when the first 600w one is connected to it than when I connect it directly to my controller's output without using the other speaker. Is there any risk?? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hello.  No risks. We can very well place an active speaker facing the room (towards the room) of 600 Watts and connect an active monitor speaker of 50 watts towards ourselves.  But we're only talking about active speakers here, right? Because for passive speakers, it's a whole different story, and there is danger if the power and impedances are not respected. Hello.  Normally not. The two inputs are in parallel and the signal is shared. There is indeed some loss since the impedances are divided. With a splitter, this drawback doesn't exist but it's a bit pricey. The difference in sound between the two speakers can be explained by the fact that the efficiency of the second speaker is better than that of the first. (96 dB for the first and 100 dB W/meter for the second, for example) So there's no need to worry.  This is just a suggestion . . . Bye   No need to rush, it’s better to leave on time...

Hello, after your response about the splitter, I tried to get one. Online, you can either find cables that split into two or boxes with an RCA input and several outputs. Their price is around twenty euros, and since you mentioned a high price, I assume that's not exactly the equipment needed... If you could guide me on where to find all this, that would be great!

Hello.  For example, you have this one with 2 inputs (mono) and 4 outputs each. In other words, for one input, you can connect 4 active speakers for right (B) and 4 others for left (A). Because it is active by electronic components, there is no loss, and the gains are adjustable. I haven't looked, but maybe you can find one with 2 inputs x 2 outputs and therefore cheaper. Unfortunately, I can't recommend any specific brand. Personally, being passionate about electronics, I made an 8-way mono splitter based on an Elektor magazine for active footbath returns (6 returns).  https://www.public-adress.fr   Don't hesitate if you have other questions... Hello.  I'm back and therefore didn't find a splitter in RCA. I found one in XLR and parallel 6.35 jack. In other words, might as well stick with XLR. However, I found this 2 X 4 way splitter cheaper and certainly simpler since there is only one gain adjustment for the input. But personally, for a little more money, I prefer the first one.  https://www.thomann.de/fr/millenium_sp8_splitter.htm  As for the adapters, be careful because for the inputs you need male XLRs and for the outputs female XLRs. Hello.  I think I misled you because I got a bit lost myself. I thought that, like any sound system, you had a pair of active speakers, one left and one right, and that you were adding another pair of speakers on either side, hence my mistake.  If you're only sticking with these two active speakers, there's no need to spend money. As you suggested in your response 5, a simple female RCA adapter with 2 outputs would suffice.
