My iPhone is asking for "Activation Required"

Hello,

As you can see in the picture above, my iPhone keeps asking for "activation required" multiple times a day, and since I travel often, I have to connect it to a Wi-Fi network to activate it and use it. After extensive research, I concluded that the issue does not come from the SIM card but maybe from iCloud. If you can help me as soon as possible, thank you.
PS: I am using an iPhone 5S

Best regards

Hello, start by activating your iPhone, then I suggest you change your account password, as a malicious person (who knows you and/or knows your iCloud password) can disable the iPhone remotely via the iCloud.com website.

Hello,

Have you recently restored your iPhone?
If so, was the restoration done on a version of iOS still signed by Apple? (Which one?)

There are several possible causes:
- Incompatible iOS version
- iPhone locked by a previous owner
- iPhone locked by Apple (SIM issue)

You can try connecting it to iTunes to see if you are prompted for activation on the computer.
Alternatively, you can put the phone in DFU mode and perform a complete restore (with iTunes) using the most recent compatible version.

Regarding iCloud, you should try logging into a different account to see if the issue persists.

The safest solution is to call Apple and ask them to verify your iPhone.
