Hello everyone,
so here it is, I have an iPhone 3GS that I reset and when I tried to re-download certain apps like Facebook, Messenger, Snapchat, Viber... the App Store is asking for iOS 7.0, but knowing that the iPhone 3GS cannot have iOS 7.0, how can I download these apps knowing that I have iOS 6.1
please help me!
a big thank you to everyone in advance

Hello friends, I found out how to do it. Hi everyone, I have the solution and I'm going to explain clearly how to do it. I searched for a long time on how to do it, they tell you it's possible but no one explains it. So I searched on my own and I found it.
I wanted to do it with images, but you can only upload one image per post. I will explain everything in this one, and then I will add the photos (photo) so that everyone can do it, because I read in some comments that there are Apple beginners.
1. Download the latest iOS version for iPhone 3GS, which is 6.1.6, and especially not iOS 7 because the
phone is not compatible. To do this go to Settings > General > Software Update. (photo 1)
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer (MacBook Pro in my case) via USB and open iTunes.
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password (create one if needed) (photo 2)
4. Go to "iTunes Store" (photo 3)
5. In the search bar, enter "Facebook inc."
6. Click on download and wait for it to download.
7. Click on iPhone of ... (photo 4)
8. Click on "Apps"
9. Click on Install, which will change to Installing (photo 5)
10. Click on Apply at the bottom to Apply (for my part, I did it several times, closed iTunes and reapplied to be sure).
11. Disconnect the iPhone and go to the iPhone App Store.
12. Next to the Facebook app, there is a little cloud, click on it and it will offer you an older version of Facebook. If it's not there, reopen iTunes, reconnect your iPhone, and start again from number 9.
Thanks to this, I was able to download Shazam, Facebook, and many other apps. -
Hello,
you buy a new iPhone.
Best regards

most of the time Google and the official sites have your answer, you just have to ask them.-

No, seriously, this is part of Apple's policy, a sort of programmed obsolescence but in software form. In order to enjoy the latest versions of apps, you have to buy the latest one, at least the ones compatible with the latest OS. After that, it's up to you whether you want the latest features or keep your iPhone 3GS.
