The computers running Windows Vista and 7 (Professional and Premium editions only) have an option to encrypt an external drive. To do this, go to the drive (USB key, etc.), then right-click. Choose the option Enable BitLocker. In the next window, check: Use a password to unlock the drive. Enter and confirm your password, then follow the procedure.
