Instagram a accepté ma demande de compte privé, mais...

Hello, so here it is

I asked to follow a private account of an old friend, a push notification told me that he accepted, but I still don't have access to his posts and the notification disappeared on Instagram. I first thought he accepted and then removed me, but he still appears in the people I follow and next to his name the "follow" icon still appears even though I am apparently subscribed to him.

So if someone could explain that would be great. I don't know if it's a bug or if he blocked me or simply accepted and then deleted my profile.

    We had a cold period and I unsubscribed (I already find it hard to ask him the question)
    before his photos were visible, it says he has 68 posts but when I go to his account it says private profile even though I am subscribed.
    maybe I'm misunderstanding your answer.

      It's not because we are subscribed to someone's account that they are necessarily sharing their information.

    It's like any other account.
    Just because he accepted doesn't mean he has made his private information available to others.

    You should ask him the question.
