Watch a Blu-ray without a player Solved

Hello,  I have an Asus laptop running Windows 8.1 without a Blu-ray drive, and I would like to know if it's possible to read Blu-ray discs with software like VLC or PowerDVD.

The Blu-ray is a disk format ...
To read them... it requires a specific blue laser ray (hence its name) ... while CD/DVD players use a RED ray.

So NO... impossible without the appropriate player...

Good evening!

The answer is, unfortunately, no. This is due to the DVD reading lens (wavelength in the red), which is different from that of a Blu-ray (in the... blue).
