Hello,
I have a Wiko Rainbow 4G, I would like to connect it to my computer in order to keep photos, put music on it, etc.
But when I connect it with the USB cable, nothing happens on my computer, it doesn't detect it, and my phone just charges.
Can someone explain how to do this?
Thank you.

I finally found the solution (because all of these didn't work for me).
I have a Wiko Lenny 3 and Windows 10.

- When I connect it via USB, I first go to the top menu and at the bottom of this menu after the emails, I click on "Charge via USB" and I select "Transfer files (MTP)"
- Then I go to "Device Manager" in the control panel.
- Then in other devices (where there is the yellow triangle with " ! ")
- right-click then "update driver"
- then "Search for a driver on my computer"
- then select from the list "Universal Serial Bus Device" and finally "USB MTP Device" and there FINALLY my computer recognized my phone
Hello,
I don't know if you finally managed to find the solution. I had the same problem myself. I followed your advice, but nothing worked, even when using USB tethering, although the phone/USB link wasn't far from the goal!
I found a solution B by using an SD card reader to empty my phone via the SD card. But that was just a workaround.
Anyway, I'm talking too much, here’s what I was able to set up.
Today, I found the solution: I have, like some of you, a Wiko Ridge Fab. The method: Go to settings, then select the storage menu. In storage, you should see the details of the memory storage (internal and possibly SD). At the top right, there are three stacked dots. Click on them, and you will see "USB connection to computer." Open this menu and select the hardware to connect (media device, camera...). By selecting the first one, it should work.
Let me know if it works for you.

I found the solution for my sunny.
When you connect it to the PC, a notification appears "charging via USB" (when you pull down the hidden bar at the top of the screen).
Click on it and then it offers you "charge," "transfer files (MTP)," or "transfer photos (PTP)."
Choose "transfer files (MTP)" and then your PC will open a page with your sunny where you will find "SD card" and "internal storage."
I hope I helped you.

Hello,
I'm following up on this discussion thread because I'm having the same problem with my Wiko Rainbow.
When I connect it to my PC, it doesn't recognize it. I've tried changing the USB cable, switching USB ports on the computer, and I've checked the "multimedia" box in the settings. I even did USB debugging with the developer options.
I saw that you could use the Airdroid app, but to download it, I would need to free up space on my phone, which means deleting the photos I actually want to keep!
What should I do?

On my Wiko Rainbow 3G, it's THE solution that resolved the situation. The access to the phone's USB settings was inactive.
Is it the app updates that caused me to lose the use of the USB? It was working perfectly before...
Thank you for suggesting the solution of powering off the phone while connected to the PC!

Hi
When you connect the phone, you should get a message on the phone asking you to confirm USB storage

Hello, I'm following up on this message because I'm having the same issue.
My phone is not recognized on my PC. So I can't either retrieve my photos or put music on it.
I have an SD card in the phone, and I can't do anything on it either from the phone (store apps or photos...)
Does anyone have a solution? Please!
I'm starting to lose patience with this phone.

I am asking you because I have the same problem, well almost. My phone crashed so I can't turn it back on. I wanted to do the update, but my Wiko connects to my computer for a second and then disconnects before I have time to make any changes to the device or anything else, and I can’t access my phone, so I don't have the time to do the update.
What should I do???

Hello
Same problem as you all: my WIKO RIDGE FAB 4G does not appear on my computer.
I have activated debugging in the developer options as well as in:
wireless and networks, more, tethering, via USB.
My PC offers to install the new device; it searches and tells me that it is impossible to install the new hardware.
If anyone has another idea, I am open to suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

for a Wiko Rainbow 4G
I found a solution for transferring images from my phone to a PC:
connect your phone to the PC via USB and go to storage
go to the three dots at the top right and click on USB connection to the computer
it offers you MTP device, I opted for PTP (for just image transfer)
and there it was, my computer recognized my phone as a camera
and I was able to transfer my photos...
if this could help someone.

Hello.
I believe the problem is not due to the phone for many of you,
I am experiencing the same issues on Windows 10 with the latest update.
I have several computers:
Windows 7 = Wiko recognized automatically.
Windows 8.1 = Wiko recognized automatically.
Windows 10 configured without updates = Wiko recognized automatically.
Windows 10 configured with updates = Wiko not recognized.
This is without changing anything in the Wiko configuration.
I think it's simply the latest update of Windows 10
that is causing the problem...

Hello, this problem appeared overnight (whereas it was working before).
None of the above solutions work with my Wiko U-Feel. However, it is recognized in Explorer as it shows a Ufeel folder, but that folder is empty, blank. And it's impossible to transfer a file to it.
I've tried several apps like Share It but the same, the app tells me it can't find the target PC. The USB debugging mode is indeed enabled.

Hello,
forget about the cables, there's a simpler and easier way
use, for example, Wifi file transfer,

see you later
