My Instagram follower count isn't increasing. Solved

Question

Hello, the problem is that my number of followers on Instagram isn't increasing, even though around 8 or 9 people subscribed to my account this morning. I should be at 403 followers, but the number in the app is stuck at 388! Does anyone else have the same issue?

If the number of subscribers stagnates despite new subscriptions, it's because some followers follow you and then "unfollow" you. This is a strategy adopted by many Instagrammers consisting of following people, and then either they follow back and keep them, or they don’t follow back and stop following after 48 or 72 hours.

I confirm that there is a really big display bug at the moment.
Last week, I created a "pro" page that generates quite a few subscriptions per day (between 30 and 50 at least), I should be at over 1200 at the hour I'm talking to you, and I'm going from 900 to 750, from 880 to 630... As soon as I have about ten people subscribing, the number goes up only to drop again shortly after.
If anyone has found a solution to the problem since then, I'm also interested!

I have the same problem... I get about 1 or 2 new followers a day, yet my follower count remains at 118/119/120... and in the personal news feed (like and follow notifications), the notification for these followers disappears as well.
I don't think these people follow me only to decide 4 hours later that they actually don't... especially since it's the same thing with every new follower. I really think it's a bug on Instagram's part, but it would be nice to know how to fix it...

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no solution to provide. That said, I noticed something that could be quite insidious if proven to be true. I feel like a sort of "algorithm" is being set up for certain users, which forces us to be present and active every day on IG, on pain of seeing our number of followers drop in case of inactivity...
It is indeed quite cunning, but from social networks like IG (therefore Facebook), it wouldn't surprise me in the end.

One time I had 95 followers and then I had 94, and then I had 95 again. Actually, I think it's Instagram that is glitching and takes a long time to load the followers.

March 9 and still the same problem as you!
Significant loss of subscribers, so I downloaded the Instreport app and saw that in one week I've lost more than 120 subscribers while gaining some every day.
So my subscribers remain stable.

If anyone knows this error once again...

It's true! However, we see a new subscriber, the follower count isn't increasing even though the dashboard shows that there is indeed a new follower! 24 or 48 hours later, the "new follower" count is still the same, but the total number of followers hasn't increased! This is seriously buggy ????????
