Hello everyone,
I want to change my desktop wallpaper/background but I'm unable to. I would like to set an image from my pictures but it doesn't work, when I browse and select the image it doesn't even show up in "my themes". I then tried downloading Microsoft wallpapers from the internet and I can see the image in "my themes" but when I select it, it only changes the taskbar and not the desktop background.
If someone knows how to do it :(
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 42.0.2311.90

Hello
the simplest way is to open (display) and then right-click directly on the image you want as your wallpaper (preferably in jpeg)
in the submenu that opens, choose "set as desktop background" -
Hello,
If you have the Starter version of W7, check this link:

Thank you all for your responses.
Unfortunately, it's not working. When I right-click and set as desktop wallpaper, nothing changes.
What's strange is that in "my themes," when I select an image from Microsoft, it only changes the taskbar but not the desktop background.
:(
@lacharpente I have Windows 7 :) -
re
which version of w7 do you have? w7 home (or premium) w7 pro? w7 ultimate? in 32 bits? in 64?
is this version yours? where did it come from?
was it originally installed on the pc?
of course, it could be an option checked or unchecked somewhere
but it could also be an issue encountered on certain so-called lightweight or modified versions
it could also be a virus, or missing files, lost, or deleted by mistake following the use of a cleaner or others
hence my request for clarifications
