How to configure an FTP server with a Freebox V4?

Hello,

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 37.0

I want to connect my camcorder (CANON HFG 30) via an FTP server over Wi-Fi to my Freebox, which is a V4; I know this is possible because my camcorder asks me to enter various data.
When I turn on my camcorder and search for access points, it finds the Freebox as well as my SAMSUNG TV with Wi-Fi;
In what order should I proceed?

    What exactly do you want to do..? Is it just to view images/videos on your TV..? Or do you want to record your camcorder movies onto the hard drive of your Freebox..?

    Is all of this at your home..? Or remotely (New York) and via the internet to your Freebox..?

    I don't quite see the purpose of FTP in all this...? Unless that functionality exists in your camcorder..?

    Otherwise, it's simply a "Network" where everyone has an IP number... One for the Freebox, one for your TV and one for your camcorder... They all need to belong to the same group name and each can connect to the other... But you must have a manual with your camcorder...? Because mixing things up like this isn't something that just comes to mind by the fireplace..

    So please clarify further..

      yes, I want to network my camcorder to the TV or the computer, the FTP function exists in the camcorder and just now I searched from the computer which successfully detected the camcorder. I took the opportunity to note the data (SSID: freebox, connection protocol: IEEE, etc., IP address of the camcorder, and finally, MAC address of the camcorder
      and as for the manual, there is nothing in detail, so I'm struggling (it was a breeze for the TV, but here ...!!!)

      who is the ftp server actually?
      For ftp, knowing the IP address is enough for the connection, then you need a user account on the server or to connect anonymously, if allowed.
      Already from an IP client, launch the command:
      ftp server ip address

    I think the connection protocol should be TCP/IP

    -- So you can see the video from your camcorder on your TV, right??
    -- What do you want to do with the FreeBox..? record the video content from your camcorder onto its disk..? ???
    -- First, you need to make sure the FreeBox server works with your PC to be certain that it functions before tackling the connection with your camcorder.. see the link from @Choucaldia.
    -- Then, as @Brupala says, you type the Free server's IP address into your browser's address bar and you'll have access to the files that are there... it looks something like this ftp://192.168.1.254/video for example.
    -- If your TV has DLNA, you should be able to see your videos directly from the FreeBox disk (server) on your TV
    -- In that case, all you have to do is upload your videos from the camcorder to your FreeBox... and this can also be done from the PC...
    It's probably also doable from your camcorder..?? But you need to have completed the training.. on the camcorder.. There must be instructions somewhere..??

      not sure about tcp.
      I think our friend would rather use dlna and upnp which often traffic in http/udp/ip (v4 or V6)
