Adding emojis in Orange messaging

Hello,
I would like to add (and/or replace) some new emojis in my Wanadoo/Orange messaging. The existing ones don't appeal to me.
So, I went looking on the internet for new emoticons. That's done. First step, completed!
But here’s the thing, to add them to my Wanadoo/Orange messaging ... I couldn’t find the instructions (apparently, it's much harder than for Outlook). In short, I'm stuck!
To move forward, I've gathered some information here and there but I keep being directed to MSN and Messenger when what I’m interested in is only the messaging (the most classic one).
Is there a kind soul who could explain to me how to do it (without going through MSN, Outlook Express ...)? I’m starting to think that Orange messaging doesn’t accept any addition of new emojis.

I arrived on this thread in... 2010 and I'm sending out the same SOS. The emojis set up by Orange, I find them super vulgar. If I had to choose, I would have preferred the basic standard yellow emojis. But honestly, these faces are so tacky... Anyway, if someone can respond... THANK YOU!!!
