Hello,
I had a falling out with one of my friends on Steam, and he blocked me :)
However, before blocking me, he sent me a message in the chat while I was offline.
On Steam, I have a notification indicating that there is an unread message, but when I click on it, I can't read it (since he blocked me).
I have a good idea of what this message might contain, so I'm not necessarily looking to read it, but I would like to check if there are any vulnerabilities that could be exploited from this (like hacking my account, for example) and to delete this notification so that I know exactly when I really have a new unread message.
Best regards
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 37.0

Hi Kirito :-)
I don’t think it’s a hack or that you’re at risk of being hacked due to this notification. As you said, it’s just a bug from Steam. Don’t worry, but if you really know what's in the message (like I assume you’re sure it’s just insults from your ex-friend) and not hacking threats, you can do something great: report it x)
I hope I’ve helped you and understood your situation, and responded accordingly
Ciao !!
