Hello,
I have a Microsoft Word 2010 A4 document that contains many next page section breaks. I select and copy the entire document to create a new one, this one in Letter size.
In the new Letter document, the next page section breaks have turned into continuous section breaks. How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you.

Hello,
To modify a section break, click on the page that follows the continuous break and in the "Layout" tab of the "Page Setup" dialog box, select "Next Page" from the "Section start" dropdown list.
But why did you copy the document into a new one if it’s just about changing the page format?
You could have saved the original document under a different name and changed the paper size.
Otherwise, you could have created a section break at the end of your document and included it in your copy to maintain the layout that precedes it.

C-Claire-
First of all, thank you very much for getting back to me.
I had copied and pasted the original document in A4 format to switch it to a letter format, just to do a test. The problem of section breaks on the next page turning into section pages remained.
I also saved it in a new document in letter size, but that was not successful. So, I set each of the sections to letter size individually. It works. Maybe I’m making things more complicated for myself, but it works. ;-)
Best regards
