Good evening,
I copied a Pivot Table because I thought it was really well done. I changed the data source to my new data.
When I want to place my filters in the window that opens on the right, I still see the old data. I can't delete the old data in this window,
I did everything correctly:
I updated the header row of my base sheet and deleted the data in the source.
I clicked on "PivotTable Options" and set "number of items to retain per field" to NONE and refreshed 10 times.
How can I delete this old data because it keeps haunting me? I can send you my file if I haven't explained myself well.
Thank you for your help
If you manage to find the solution, I will worship you for the rest of my life :)

Good evening
Right-click on a row of the pivot table. Then PivotTable Options
Tab Data: Uncheck Save source data with file
Then for Number of items to retain per field choose None
Confirm with OK
Refresh the table

Hello.
- The pivot table is not designed to undergo upheavals in the organization of the data itself.
- The [Refresh] button is effective for reflecting data updates; not always for modifying filters and calculated fields.
- Instead of tinkering with an existing pivot table, it would be much better for you to understand how it is created and to build your own pivot table based on the model.
That said, you can still send your file; maybe one of us will find a way to recover things ... but if we had both the old and the new file, that would help us a lot!
Best regards.
