Hello,
I just bought a Trust GXT530 controller. I installed it, the PC recognizes it and says it works, but it doesn't in games. I tested it on Far Cry 4, Naruto Full Burst 3, and it shows an Xbox controller in the controller section.
I can't play with my controller, what can I do? Is the problem that I don’t have an Xbox controller?
Thanks in advance.

Hello.
Don't panic, you just need to install xpadder and set up your controller.
By the way, just out of curiosity, why did you choose this controller? The wired Xbox 360 controller from Microsoft is not more expensive and has a lot fewer constraints. You plug it in, it installs itself, and you play.-
Hello there! I installed xpadder but it has no effect on the games I'm playing. BlackFlag works fine with my controller, but others like Far Cry do not. Also, the controller I bought costs $24. If I'm not mistaken, the Xbox controller costs around $40 or $50 :/
I wanted to buy an Xbox controller but I preferred to save money thinking everything would work fine.
For the game The Forest, the commands can be modified before the game starts, but I don't know which buttons to assign for each control :/
e.g.: Horizontal (+)
Horizontal (-)
Vertical (+)
Vertical (-)
Joystick x
Joystick y
Horizontal
Vertical
Look x
Look y
these are the basics but I'm not sure what to set for them :/ so if someone can help me... -
It's true that it's a bit more expensive, but I'm not judging, I assure you it was just curiosity.
To configure your controller, you first need to determine which letter corresponds to each stick and understand what the values Y+, X-, etc. correspond to (these are the same as on a math cross graph where Y is vertical and X is horizontal).
Let's take an example:
"joystick x" corresponds to the left stick of your controller and you use it to move the character. You will need to select "joystick X (Y+)" for your character to move forward and "joystick X (Y-)" for it to move backward.
Then it's just logic: "joy X (X-)" for left, "joy X (X+)" for right.
For Look, it's simply pressing down on the stick (R3/L3 on PS).
