Facebook: this person is not available?

Hello,
It’s been 24 hours that when I try to send a message to a specific friend, it shows me "This person is not available at the moment." However, on Facebook, you can send messages to someone even when they are offline.

I also thought about blocking, but that can't be the case since I can see their profile, and when you are blocked on Messenger, it shows: this person does not receive messages from you.

    Hello,
    The reason is simply that your "friend" has disabled instant messaging with you. No problem viewing their profile as if nothing happened, but you can't contact them via Messenger anymore.
    See the option available on PC (show the instant conversation with this profile,
    click on settings next to the contact's name, the option will appear)

      Thank you! Because this just happened to me tonight and I didn't know what it was about if the person blocked me or removed me from their friends list.
