Network Issue Unidentified

Solved

Hello, I know this topic has been addressed many times before, but unfortunately, I haven't found a solution to my problem...

First, let me specify that I am with Orange, I receive Fiber, and my CPL is a Devolo.

So here's the situation: I moved my desktop computer this afternoon. Previously, it was next to the box and connected directly, but now it is connected to the box via a Devolo 200mb/s CPL and an Ethernet cable (the same one that connected it to the box). However, when I turn on the computer, the network appears as unidentified with no internet access... While browsing, I found that "Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration." I really don't know what to do... Even the Wi-Fi, which is supposedly enabled on the box, is not detected! I am completely lost...
Thank you for your help!

    Hi

What is the second CPL connected to?

What are the indicators like on the CPL?

What is the exact model of the Livebox?

Click this link and let us know which model corresponds to your Livebox

Why are you mentioning wifi to us? Does your fixed one have a Wifi card?

There is a powerline adapter connected to the Livebox (it is the Livebox Play fiber) and another one connected to the computer. The lights that are on the powerline adapter connected to the computer are the left button (the on/off symbol) and the right one (the connected squares); the center one (a house) produces a very dim light. The powerline adapter connected to the box (a devolo 500mb) has only one light (on/off), and it is on.

I mention Wi-Fi because I saw it as an alternative solution, but thinking it over, I believe it does not have a Wi-Fi card, so the fact that it does not pick up Wi-Fi is probably normal.

So, in total, there is a pair of 500mb/s Powerline adapters and my 200mb/s Powerline adapter in my house. For the 500mb/s adapters, they are Devolo multimedia Wi-Fi Powerline adapters; one is connected to the TV (dLAN 500 AV Wireless+) with 4 indicators (on/off, house, squares connected, and Wi-Fi, all lit). The one connected to the box is a dLAN 500 duo+, and it has a power indicator turned on.

The powerline adapter for the PC is the old one from the TV; we changed it specifically because 200mb wasn't enough for the TV, it was cutting out... I will try the 500 powerline adapter on the PC to see if it's my 200 that's the issue.

Problem solved! I just had to connect a second 200 PLC to my box to pair it with the one for the PC!

      Hello,
when I connect my Ethernet cable to my desktop PC, the network starts an identification process and then remains on 'unidentified network'; I don't understand, yet the Internet was working. I even tried restoring to an earlier date, but the problem persists. I went into the options and set a static IP address, yet it’s still showing as unidentified, even with automatic IP address settings.
While waiting for a response, thank you in advance.

Edit: when I go to network diagnostics, it tells me:
      - Local area connection does not have a valid IP configuration
      - An Ethernet cable is not connected properly or is damaged
      - The local area connection adapter is disabled.

That's about what I had; the problem was with the powerline adapter that wasn't paired. Powerline adapters work in pairs, so one needs to be connected to the box and the other to the computer; otherwise, the adapter doesn't connect to anything and can't find a network. So try connecting one adapter to your box and another to your computer.
