Remove light color highlight for copy-paste from the internet Solved

Hello everyone

The topic has probably been raised several times, but I still haven't found the solution, so I'm reaching out to you. As part of my thesis, I need to translate texts, but when I copy texts from the internet, a subtle highlight (sometimes gray or pink) gets inserted, and I can't remove it since when I change the highlight to "no color" in Word, nothing changes.

Hello I don't quite understand your problem The text you want to copy is already highlighted??   -- Don't ask for the impossible, I won't be able to do it.

Hello,

Have you looked in the Borders dialog box, "Background" tab?

Otherwise, you can either do a special paste "Unformatted text" or "Keep text only." The text will adopt the style of the paragraph where your cursor is.
Or you can apply the "Normal" style to the text.

If you could give us an example of a site from which you're retrieving this text, we could try to understand its formatting.

And by the way, let us know which version of Word and Windows you have on your computer.
