Toshiba laptop freezes on startup

Hello,
My Toshiba laptop running W8 freezes on startup.
The following message appears:
"A required device is not connected or is inaccessible.
Error code: 0xc0000185"
The following message also appears:
"\windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys
I have tried using the installation DVDs without success.
Can someone help me?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 35.0

Have you tried the Toshiba technical support to resolve this issue?

Also try starting in safe mode:
