Hello,
I don't know how, but the character "hyphen" has become permanently invisible when typing in a Word document.
However, it appears when printed.
When I close and reopen Word, the problem persists.
On the other hand, this issue does not occur in Excel or PPT.
Can someone help me to make this mysterious character reappear?
Thank you in advance, amjmd

Hello,
I assume you have tried changing the font, size, and line spacing.
Is your text not in hidden characters?
Have you tried going through Insert, Symbol?
If that doesn't work, try opening Word in safe mode (hold CTRL and launch Word).

C-Claire-
Thank you Claire,
The entire text is not in hidden characters.
The problem only concerns the invisible underscore in Word. Indeed, I must have pressed a command. Which one? Mystery...
I tried everything you indicated, alas without success;
Once again, thank you.- Can you add a few lines with an underscore from time to time in a document, put it on https://www.cjoint.com/ and give us the link?
Unless you've already tried on another computer.
