Hello everyone,
I would like to know what the equivalent of the "star" key was on a rotary dial phone. (Phone from the 70s-80s).
Because this key (as well as the pound key) did not exist at that time.
Is there a sequence of numbers to dial that is equivalent to the star key on a modern phone?

Unfortunately, I fear that your response does not really correspond to the question I was asking. That being said, I may not have expressed myself well.
In fact, my rotary phone from the 70s-80s works like a regular phone; I can make calls and receive calls without any problems. However, this phone does not have the star and pound keys, which is problematic because nowadays, when calling platforms, we are asked to press the star key on the phone to access certain services, which I can’t do.
So, I think there must be a code to perform to obtain these 2 keys.
For example, imagine that by dialing the numbers 1, 3, and 6 on the phone, the combination would be equivalent to the star key.
You see what I mean?
